Afternoon at the Opera

Many of us have been part of book clubs over the years, where we read a book and then discuss it with a group. This spring’s opera class will do something similar: we will watch a different opera each week and discuss it during the following class. Our discussions will be led by mezzo-soprano Deborah Rosengaus who will enhance our enjoyment with opera clips and occasional guest speakers. Don’t worry! You don’t have to be an opera critic, a musician, or know anything about opera. Just let the operas wash over you, enjoy them, and share what you experienced … but only if you’d like to share. It’s perfectly fine to just listen to what others have to say.
