Direct Support Professional (DSP) Paid Internship Program
Start a meaningful career helping others through California’s Direct Support Professional (DSP) Paid Internship Program. This paid internship provides hands-on training working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while preparing you for a rewarding career in community services.
Participants receive up to three months of paid on-the-job training and may qualify for $625 employment incentive stipends after six and twelve months of employment. Applicants must be 18 or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid ID, and be able to pass a background check and required health screenings. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a positive impact in your community.
