National certification exam through the National Health career Association and exam preparation materials are included with the program. It is also recommended that students sit for Certified Professional Coder (CPC) exam offered through AAPC.

This fully online program is taught by a live-instructor, in real-time, in a virtual classroom using Zoom technology. Class time is engaging, and students are encouraged to interact with their instructor and fellow students.

Must be 18+ years. A high school diploma or GED is required for NHA certification. Students will need to have access to internet, PC, laptop, or tablet and access to a printer in order to participate.
